It’s causing outages in Cashel, Kilross, Cullen, Limerick Junction, New Inn, Rosegreen and other areas on the Galtee Regional Supply.

Uisce Éireann says it’s as a result of the increase in demand during the recent warm weather and issues with the raw water source.

There are outages or low pressure affecting Cashel town, and homes on higher ground especially.

The utility has put tankers at Kilross Village car park, Cullen National School, Limerick Junction car park, Danaskeagh, Kilfeacle, New Inn, Rosegreen Graveyard.

In Cashel, alternative water supplies are available at Centenary Co-Op, the GAA Field and St John The Baptist National School but locals need to bring their own containers and boil the water for safety.

Uisce Éireann says it’s crews are working to restore supply to impacted customers as quickly as possible

Night-time restrictions remain in place in Cashel Town and Rosegreen between 8pm and 8am until further notice.

A boil Water notice is already in effect on the Galtee supply since last week.
