Permission has been granted for a small housing development in mid-Tipperary.

The local authority has this week approved an application from John and Bridget Martin for the village of Loughmore.

A total of 7 houses will be constructed – they will be made up of a mix of three terraced, two semi-detached and two detached dwellings.

The development is to the lower end of the village.
